Medical / Pediatric Unit LPN Position

Job Summary:

Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled LPN to join our Medical / Pediatric Unit team. As a LPN on our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including Med/Surg and Pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to Med/Surg and Pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Current LPN license in the hiring state
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
  • Ability to lift and move patients with assistance
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
