About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Administrative Coordinator Position to join our team at the University of La Verne.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating accounting, bookkeeping, and other administrative functions, ensuring accurate budget reports and managing receivables, accounts payable, and other business accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budget reports; track budget changes.">
  • Maintain, manage, and reconcile receivables, accounts payable, budgets, and other business accounts.">
  • Support academic units in establishing and maintaining accurate shadow budget spreadsheets.">
  • Process timesheets and assist with FLAC.">
  • Initiate and process requisitions for purchases; prepare administrative documents such as pay advices and other forms of paperwork.">
  • Assist academic units and grants with accounting-related functions.">
  • Coordinate office travel and provide oversight of unit travel.">
  • Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, annual, and special reports.">
  • Verify the accuracy of accounting data and entries.">
  • Research dean's office and college accounts as required.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Knowledge of university fiscal regulations, policies, and procedures.">
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures and methods, and ability to apply them to specific situations.">
  • Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software.">
  • Ability to learn office and university-specific software.">
  • Ability to compile, organize, interpret, and communicate accounting data and results in a concise format.">

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,800 - $62,700, depending on experience.
