The Wells Fargo Center is one of the world's busiest arenas, home to the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, Philadelphia Wings, family shows, and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena has been the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region, as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena showcases the company's industry-leading qualities as an operator and innovator in the live event experience.
**Job Summary**
While on duty, be constantly circulating throughout the building to ensure a secure environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Observe and report everything that occurs during your shift to your Command Center Supervisor.
- Document incidents and provide accurate information.
- Walk premises (inside and outside) to ensure the building is secure.
- Perform probe tours on all shifts to ensure the integrity of the Complex.
- Respond to all issues as dispatched by Command Center Supervisor.
- Work with Base Building staff, employees, and guests on a daily basis.
- Review Post Orders and Read File on a regular basis.
- Check bags for contraband.
- Lock and unlock doors as requested by Command Center Supervisor.
- Work in cooperation with other Security personnel as a security team.
- Display professionalism while interacting within the Building.
- Work various assignments inside and outside the building.
- Issue visitor passes through the visitor management system.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Must be available for the following shifts: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, 4pm-12am, and 11pm-7am.
- Must have flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
**Requirements:**
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and climb stairs (must be comfortable with heights).
- Good oral communication and writing skills.
- Ability to interact with staff and outside vendors on a professional basis.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally within the Department.
- All candidates must be in good disciplinary standing and have a good attendance record (for current employees).
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

**Compensation and Benefits:**
Base Pay: $15.45
