We are currently in search of Unarmed Security Personnel and Supervisors to oversee operations at a commercial office facility in the Traverse City, Michigan area.

Key Responsibilities:
The duties of Security Personnel encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all individuals encountered during shifts, including providing directions and general business information.
  • Managing access for guests, visitors, or vendors as necessary, ensuring all entries are documented.
  • Conducting hourly inspections and utilizing mobile devices for scans and checkpoints.
  • Monitoring surveillance cameras and performing patrols to prevent theft and ensure a secure environment.
  • Maintaining precise logs related to individuals or property, including packages.
  • Responding to incidents, including emergencies on the premises, and documenting data for management review.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:
For Security Personnel, we offer:

  • A starting wage of $18 per hour.

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background investigation.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Capability to fulfill the physical demands of the role, which may include lifting over 50 lbs, conducting foot patrols, navigating stairs, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Comfort with heights and elevators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a security role or in customer service, retail, hospitality, or food service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Guard Tour Systems.
