Job Title: Airline Supervisor

At Avflight, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airline Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airport services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of our ramp services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Train and develop the skills of our team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Coordinate with air carrier personnel, station managers, and representatives of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Implement departmental policies and procedures, making recommendations and decisions as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and TSA security regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports on service activities and team performance, as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relative airline or aviation experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work varied hours, including swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.

Physical Demands:

The Airline Supervisor must be able to carry 50-pound suitcases and perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending, squatting, and twisting. Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment:

The Airline Supervisor will work in an airport environment, both indoors and outdoors, and must be able to work in extreme temperatures and elevated noise levels.
