Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Wash Shift Leader to join our team at Love's Travel Stops & Country Store. As a Truck Wash Shift Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and clean facility, and assisting the Truck Care General Manager in overseeing general operations of the Truck Wash facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and clean facility, adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers, and assisting them as needed.
  • Assist the Truck Care General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and coaching employees.
  • Manage employee turnover and retention, ensuring a high-performing team.
  • Perform commercial vehicle and RV exterior washes, as well as wash-related services such as changing trailer washouts and applying cleaners and tire dressings.
  • Accurately invoice and process payments for services performed using billing software.
  • Perform basic facility and equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of customers, complying with company safety policies and procedures.

Work Environment

While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
