Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Water Truck Driver to join our team at Summit Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and effectively operating a manual transmission water truck at our stone yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a culture that prioritizes safety and ensures compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily pre-start up procedures, including inspecting equipment and completing a daily checklist.
  • Be aware of other equipment and personnel working in the area and maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards colleagues and the public.
  • Report to assigned job area in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.
  • Ability to think clearly under stress and possess a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to airborne particles.
