Job Summary

As an echo ultrasonographer, you will use echocardiograms to take images of patients' hearts. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for echocardiograms, operating equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for echocardiograms and operate equipment to take images of patients' hearts.
  • Process images for radiologists and physicians and handle patient records.
  • Work in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center, or other healthcare facility.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty.
  • ARMDS or CCI National Certification.
  • BLS Certification (AHA).
  • Current state license (if applicable).
