Job Summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all artifacts necessary to build a compliant procurement document are present and adequate.
  • Engage with the Subcontracts Manager Peer Reviewer to ensure compliant packages are presented.
  • Engage with Subcontracts Manage Compliance for process compliance.
  • Help develop subcontract specifications, statements of work, and scope.
  • Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualification.
  • Manage Compliant Placement of Purchase Orders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
  • Previous LM subcontracts/supply chain experience as a buyer or SCA.
  • Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments.
  • Possess effective relationship building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
