Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of our care team, responsible for providing exceptional resident care and support in all activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with serving meals and feeding residents, ensuring they receive fresh water and nourishment between meals.
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance, including bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves, as well as assisting with travel to the bathroom and helping with showers and baths.
  • Assist with ambulating, turning, and positioning residents to maintain their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information, and providing comfort by utilizing resources and materials.
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records, while maintaining resident privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, bending, and walking regularly, as well as lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds. Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication is required.
