Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SME Geoint Instructor to join our team at IC-CAP, LLC. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geospatial intelligence, space analysis, and instruction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver training programs on geospatial intelligence and space analysis
  • Provide expert instruction on GIMS certification and geospatial data analysis
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training materials and courses
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure training effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in geospatial intelligence and space analysis
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience, or 6 years of experience without a degree
  • GIMS certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with instructing or solving intelligence problems and filling intelligence gaps through collection of airborne and space-borne imagery
  • Experience with creating, submitting requirements, or instructing GIMS or a similar tool
  • Knowledge of geospatial data and imagery analysis, including image science, analytic methods, data science, open-source research, and human geography
  • Knowledge of national imagery exploitation processes, policies, and production cycles and the principles and applications of geographic information systems
Additional Criteria for Space-Counterspace Position:
  • Understanding of Space/Counterspace policy
  • Knowledge of Space systems and technologies including Space-Based IMINT, Space-Based SIGINT, and orbital mechanics
Level 1 Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in area of expertise plus three years of experience, or six years of relevant experience
  • Desired Minimum Instructional Experience: Three years of relevant instructor experience
Level 2 Experience:
  • Masters degree in area of expertise plus 3 years of relevant experience, or bachelors degree in area of expertise plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 20 years of relevant experience
  • Desired Minimum Teaching Experience: Four years of relevant instructor experience
Security Clearance:
  • Active TS SCI and the willingness to take a polygraph if needed
