As a skilled Recovery Room RN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care in a cost-effective and patient-focused manner.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collecting pertinent social, psychological, developmental, and spiritual data from patients and their families
* Performing ongoing assessments, formulating nursing diagnoses, and planning interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Consistently documenting patient and unit records according to written health system standards
* Providing education and information to patients and families on various topics, including pain management, nutrition, skin integrity, and disease processes
* Demonstrating commitment to the goals and values of the patient, hospital, community, and nursing profession through cost containment measures, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring patient safety
* Utilizing evidence-based interventions and participating in research activities to improve patient care
We are offering a competitive compensation package, including a $20,000 sign-on bonus for new hires who meet eligibility requirements.
Qualifications:
* Required Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing
* Required Experience: 1 year of acute care RN experience
* Required Licensure and Certifications: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months, TNCC within 12 months
Pay Range: $43.46/hour
