About the Role

Symetria Recovery is a leading outpatient rehab center in Illinois and Texas, dedicated to providing comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). We're seeking a skilled Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our team and play a critical role in the treatment and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical providers and clinical staff to provide leading roles in treatment decisions.
  • Dispense medications and ensure appropriate medical care is administered to patients in recovery.
  • Provide daily support and interactions with patients to improve their health and well-being.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, maintain accurate records, and collect blood samples as needed.
  • Administer injectable medications, educate clients on side effects, and obtain pre-authorization for prescriptions.
  • Perform tuberculosis screening tests, drug screens, and other medical procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts of medications and medical supplies.
Requirements
  • Current and valid LVN or RN license with no restrictions and licensed within the state of Texas.
  • 1-year experience as an LVN or RN required.
  • Eighteen months of education or training beyond high school in Nursing or related field required.
  • Experience dispensing, handling, ordering, and stocking medications required.
  • Experience working in a substance abuse treatment or behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders required.
