Insurance Risk Analyst

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Insurance Risk Analyst, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and success of our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats to our operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess risks, and develop plans to mitigate or eliminate them.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of insurance policies, certificates, and other relevant documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of insurance programs to protect the company's assets and interests.
  • Provide analytical support to the risk management team, including data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance company, or insurance brokerage experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints and deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information technology, or risk management.
  • Willingness to study for ARM, CRM, CPCU, or other risk management professional designations.
  • Deep experience with the advanced features of Excel.
  • Experience in risk management information systems.
  • Experience in project management applications.

This role will be based in Kent, WA, on a work-from-work basis. Compensation range for WA applicants is $79,830.00-$111,762.00.
