Job Summary

Cedar Point is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our food and beverage operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of all food and beverage outlets, working closely with the Vice President of Food and Beverage to achieve our company goals and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Operations: Oversee the management of all food and beverage outlets, including supervising cooks, coordinating special events, and monitoring food and labor costs.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Plan and develop menus, catering packages, and daily specials, ensuring financial responsibility and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management to ensure all outlets are adequately supplied, and perform periodic inventory and requisitioning and purchasing within corporate specifications.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of culinary staff, including Sous Chefs, Managers, and Supervisors, providing training and development to maintain the highest standard of production and food quality.
  • Financial Management: Analyze menu and food costs, prepare reports, and ensure all fiscal responsibilities are met, including budgeting and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate Degree/Vocational or Technical School Degree in Culinary Arts or Food and Beverage required.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of related work experience and 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Skills: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods, pass a mandatory drug test, and pass a background check.
