Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will assist veterinarians in cancer treatment procedures, monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions, and provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments.
- Monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, RVT license preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients.
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates.
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role.
