About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Construction Project Manager to lead our BIM initiatives in the Charleston office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with HVAC, fire protection, electrical, and plumbing mechanical BIM Models in various sectors.


Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project model deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RMF and client standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects for seamless workflow integration.
  • Lead BIM coordination and kick-off meetings to discuss project updates and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain documented processes, procedures, and workflows as needed.
  • Manage interoperability between BIM and design/engineering tools.
  • Research and evaluate new software technologies for potential implementation.
  • Act as the primary contact for local office BIM standards members.
  • Design training materials and conduct training sessions for BIM software users.
  • Implement and enforce company-wide BIM standards.
  • Perform quality control checks according to established CAD/BIM quality standards.
  • Direct strategic utilization of BIM, anticipating challenges, and presenting solutions to senior leadership.
  • Promote adoption of advanced BIM technologies and foster a forward-thinking approach.
  • Develop department standards, calculations, and memos.
  • Automate BIM routines to enhance standards and productivity.

Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Technology.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Navisworks, and Adobe software.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM practices, standards, and techniques.
  • IT background is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience with expertise in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
