Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing on-site construction crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet project deadlines. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are essential for this position.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage on-site construction crews.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule.
  • Monitor project costs and implement strategies to stay within budget constraints.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure smooth project flow.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in construction, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and construction documents.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in construction management software.

Salary: $32-$42 per hour, depending on experience. Location: Charleston, SC and surrounding areas.
