Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Mathis Home. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence Solutions using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient data models in Power BI, leveraging DAX to create sophisticated calculations and aggregations.
  • Transform and integrate data using Power Query and Dataflows.
  • Design and optimize DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and calculated tables to ensure efficient and accurate data modeling.
  • Craft visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, utilizing DAX for advanced analytics and calculations.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions.
  • Establish role-based access controls within Power BI to manage user permissions effectively.
  • Support client directors/managers with high-level, cross-functional focus and assistance.
  • Deliver high-quality, senior executive-level deliverables.
  • Coordinate and cross-collaborate with other internal developers and external teams to support the development of success metrics.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to create tables and write reports based on findings while communicating in an understandable way with others.
  • Ability to work on projects with minimal guidance from the managers and assume the responsibility for the success of the projects; must have a diligent work ethic and the discipline to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; proficiency in written, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening, and repetitive motion.
