Position Overview
The Mobile Registered Nurse position at Compassus emphasizes the commitment to the organization's core values while delivering empathetic care to patients and their families. This role necessitates significant travel to diverse locations for assignments lasting between 8 to 13 weeks. The Nurse will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patient requirements are fulfilled and high-quality care is provided. Key responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, providing education, coordinating care, and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate possesses a Nursing degree, ideally with a background in home health, hospice, or long-term care settings. Exceptional communication, organizational, and clinical skills are vital. An active RN license is mandatory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Travel to designated programs for temporary assignments
- Conduct patient evaluations and manage care coordination
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Provide education to patients and their caregivers
- Oversee care delivered by other healthcare professionals
- Comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- RN license in the state of employment
- Mathematical: Competence in performing basic calculations
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Other: Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment. Flexibility in scheduling and readiness to travel
- Active and unencumbered RN license
