Job Overview

Resilient Healthcare & Home Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary-focused and patient-centered care team, you will have the opportunity to cultivate our vision and provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging speech therapy exercises and activities for patients
  • Provide counseling and consultations to new patients, their family members, and caregivers
  • Create personalized goals and objectives for patients and track their progress and challenges
  • Oversee speech-language pathologist assistants and ensure they possess a full understanding of office management
  • Maintain speech pathology equipment and exam rooms, adhering to proper sterilization and safety procedures
  • Review patient files prior to appointments and develop a clear understanding of the challenges to be addressed
  • Pursue continuing education courses to advance knowledge and experience within the field
Qualifications
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Therapy and licensure in the State of Texas
  • Proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation
  • Master's degree in speech therapy required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws
  • Experience handling sensitive and personal patient records and information
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting common software and hardware issues related to speech pathology tools
  • Physical endurance and ability to work primarily in a standing position
  • Friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and processes to patients
  • Accountability and attention to detail when handling and documenting important medical information
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
