We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at VHB. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of professionals in the field of Geomatics, overseeing the performance of Boundary/ALTA surveys, Topographic surveys, Construction and post-construction surveys, and transportation surveys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the activities of a survey crew, ensuring efficient and accurate completion of survey projects.
  • Maintain proper care of survey equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions, with exposure to outdoor elements.
  • Maintain documentation of all phases of survey work, including public records research and execution of survey field work.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of progressive professional land surveying experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying/Engineering or related field (helpful but not required).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, Microstation, Inroads, and OpenRoads (desirable but not required).
  • Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (desirable but not required).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
