We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team at Austin Oaks Hospital. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and creating a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
  • Assist with activities of daily living and provide a safe and therapeutic milieu
  • Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year prior psychiatric experience preferred
  • CPR Certification
  • Human behavior knowledge, including therapeutic relationships and processes
