The Event Service Associate will provide exceptional hospitality to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $12.

The Owensboro Convention Center is a full-service facility overlooking the scenic Ohio River in revitalized downtown Owensboro, Kentucky.

It is a multi-purpose, 5,000-seat arena that hosts concerts, sporting events, graduations, trade shows, meetings, and receptions.

The Event Service Associate will ensure that food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.

They will also communicate clearly with all customers, pre-bus tables and full buses tables when necessary during peak periods, and stock beverage station(s) when necessary.

The Event Service Associate will build and maintain knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, and related Food Service Job Experience.
Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.

The Event Service Associate will be able to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
