Job Summary:

Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide in-home care services to our clients during evening and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open communication with seniors and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including errands, light housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, transportation, ambulation, and transfers.
  • Provide personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, incontinence care, feeding, and other services as needed.
  • Offer companionship and friendship to seniors and their loved ones, engaging in activities that promote socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Remind clients of medication schedules and assist with medication administration as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
