The Payroll Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This includes verifying time records, calculating pay, and managing checks or electronic transfers.
**Responsibilities:**
- Ensure accurate payroll processing by verifying time records, calculating pay, and managing checks or electronic transfers.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies, including wage and hour laws, wage assignments, garnishments, and payroll tax liabilities.
- Audit and resolve payroll discrepancies, unclaimed or damaged checks, and variances in payroll accounts.
Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with at least 2-3 years of related payroll experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
