About the Role:
This role involves effectively managing complex workers compensation claims to ensure timely resolution and optimal outcomes for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with various stakeholders to gather information, assess claim validity, and negotiate settlements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough investigations into claim incidents, gathering relevant facts and documentation.
- Analyze medical evidence and treatment plans to determine claim validity.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, employers, and third-party vendors.
- Collaborate with medical case managers to facilitate early return-to-work programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize claim costs and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., insurance, law, or business) and at least 5 years of experience in claims management or a related field.
