Our Industrial team provides best practices and solutions across various industries, including advanced technology, automotive, consumer products, energy storage, food and beverage, tire and rubber, and more. We specialize in new facility and process design, expansions, and system modifications to support adaptive use. Our comprehensive suite of services focuses on meeting both current and future needs of our clients.

This position can be located in our Charlotte, Knoxville, Detroit, or Nashville office. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating mechanical design utilizing Revit Mechanical.
  • Providing mechanical design development and support for utility piping for major phases of large industrial projects.
  • Designing and producing conceptual plans, engineering drawings, and instructions based on engineering calculations provided by the engineering team.
  • Checking, interpreting, and modifying engineering drawings according to established standards.
  • Conceiving, planning, and conducting research in complex problem areas.
  • Developing solutions to technical problems.
  • Collaborating with other design professionals and conducting field investigations as necessary.
  • Utilizing theoretical and practical engineering knowledge applicable to drafting and design.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 8 years of Mechanical design experience (HVAC, piping, plumbing) using Revit is a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of REVIT techniques and principles is REQUIRED.
  • Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of PFD's, P&ID's, codes, and regulations is required.
  • Skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
