Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up service areas prior to meal periods and accurately fill customer orders.
  • Serve meals to guests in a courteous and pleasant manner, maintaining sanitary standards in food preparation, service, and dining areas.
  • Adhere to cleaning assignments, apply proper food handling principles, and collect money and make change for cafeteria patrons.
  • Assemble and deliver individual or quantity food orders and supplies to customers, removing service items and delivering them to the dish room.
  • Transport or pick up food products to designated areas, safeguarding KP assets through proper security.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months of customer service experience in a restaurant or institutional food service setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Food Handler certification within 0.25 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 18 months of experience in a restaurant or institutional food service setting.
  • Experience in a room service environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Operation of standard kitchen appliances.
  • Knowledge of cash registers.
