Lead the Way in Resident Care

We are seeking an experienced LPN to lead the wellness department of our charming assisted living community. As a Wellness Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the health and happiness of our residents while enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of caring professionals, providing guidance, training, and support
  • Coordinate Resident Care Programs to ensure compliance with state regulations and Volante Senior Living policies
  • Conduct pre-admission screenings and assessments, interviewing residents and families with empathy and understanding
  • Evaluate resident care needs and determine the required level of care, adapting to changes in conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of resident changes, requests, and irregularities
  • Update medical charts and care plans to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
  • Observe residents' health status, taking proactive measures within your scope of practice
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred, with emphasis in business administration, hospitality, gerontology, or a related field
  • Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) with an unencumbered license to practice nursing within the state of application
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a similar role
  • Prior care experience in an assisted living community or skilled nursing facility
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Understanding of State Assisted Living Regulations
  • Reliable transportation, automobile insurance as required by law, and a valid driver's license
