Geospatial Project Manager

Control Point Associates is seeking an experienced professional to lead our survey crew in the field. As a Crew Chief, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of field surveying, including construction stakeout, topographical surveys, and as-built surveys. You will utilize advanced tools and technologies, such as Trimble/Leica/Spectre robotic total stations, data collectors, and GPS RTK units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field surveys and calculations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supervise and motivate instrument operators, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain and care for company equipment and vehicles, ensuring proper setup and safety precautions.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including expanding skillsets and adapting to new technologies.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, with a strong background in surveying and geospatial technologies.
- High School Diploma and strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and travel with overnight stays, if required.
- Valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
