Patient Safety Monitor

The Patient Safety Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of patients at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients to prevent falls and accidental or intentional self-harm.
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure a safe and risk-free patient environment.
- Assist with basic activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient status and activity during the shift, ensuring accurate and clear communication with the healthcare team.
- Participate in hospital or departmental performance improvement activities and contribute to process improvements.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
Frisbie Memorial Hospital is a 112-bed medical facility located in the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
