Medical Bariatric Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Bariatrician to join our team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of General Internal Medicine. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive patient care in the outpatient setting, with a focus on establishing and growing a practice of Obesity Medicine within our comprehensive UW Health Metabolic & Bariatric Weight Management Program.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the outpatient setting, including establishing and growing a practice of Obesity Medicine.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with obesity and related conditions.
- Participate in clinical teaching and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services related to obesity and weight management.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or a related field.
- Experience in Obesity Medicine or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
