Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Government Affairs Specialist to join our team at the State of Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for providing information, advice, and support on policy matters to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting policy and programmatic analysis and making recommendations to senior management.
  • Serving as a liaison between various departments and agencies within the state government.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on policy matters.
  • Developing and implementing policies and programs that align with the agency's mission.

Requirements:

  • Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional experience in business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • A degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required experience.
  • Familiarity with housing, community development, anti-poverty, and social service programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:$85,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
