Pikes Peak Hospice and Palliative Care (PPHPC) is seeking a dedicated Community Relations Specialist to enhance community engagement and drive referral growth within the healthcare sector. This role will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships within the healthcare ecosystem.
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend duties.
Compensation: $63,000 - $79,456.00 annually
Additional Compensation: Overtime, Paid Mileage, and Incentive Plans based on position and availability.
Mileage Reimbursement: 53 cents per mile

Key Responsibilities:
The Community Relations Specialist will:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to enhance referral volumes and market presence.
- Promote hospice programs and services through strategic outreach to healthcare-related organizations.
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to design effective campaigns that boost brand visibility.
- Conduct outreach and educational initiatives to meet strategic objectives and maximize market potential.
- Document outreach activities and plan future engagement strategies.
- Identify and cultivate new referral sources, addressing barriers to hospice and palliative care.
- Educate the medical community on the advantages of hospice and palliative care through community events and meetings.
- Assist in evaluating service delivery through feedback from referral sources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required; some college preferred, with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a healthcare-related field being ideal.
Experience: A minimum of four to five years in marketing, sales, or healthcare relationship management is required.
Licenses: Valid Colorado state driver's license and current auto insurance are mandatory.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs.
