Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team. As a Community Support Specialist, you will work with individuals and families to provide holistic support and services to promote stability and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide family preservation services to establish or maintain stability in family units
  • Offer crisis management services, including de-escalation and safety planning
  • Facilitate intensive outpatient programs for youth transitioning from hospitals or mental health facilities
  • Assist individuals with establishing stability in their lives, including finding work, housing, and navigating larger systems
  • Provide supervised visitation services to assess bonding and attachment styles
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Human Services related field
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally sensitive services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Training and Support

  • Weekly supervision and case review
  • Other systems, safety, and agency culture training
Background Check

All Contractors must pass a background screening, including domestic violence related charges, sex offender registry, and FBI criminal background check. This expense is covered by Dragonfly Landing.
