GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The primary function of this role is to market and support light commercial projects for the organization while providing exceptional service to the existing clientele as a solutions-oriented provider in replacement light commercial initiatives.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Deliver equipment replacement estimates to current clients for aging systems.
2. Provide detailed design specifications (including installation layouts and designs) for items ordered by clients.
3. Secure signed agreements.
4. Order necessary equipment and materials to fulfill client orders.
5. Coordinate all required permits, subcontractors, and equipment rentals.
6. Generate project job packages for supervisors, installers, and warehouse staff.
7. Schedule project timelines with clients while liaising with the dispatcher.
8. Manage all financial aspects of sales, including deposits, final payments, rebates, incentives, and financing options.
9. Identify new sales opportunities for systems of 25 tons and under within the service area.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide various options and solutions tailored to meet individual customer needs.
2. Prepare commission request documentation and review all sold and billed jobs for profitability.
3. Ensure an additional level of quality assurance.
4. Assist in the training of new sales staff.
5. Engage in training sessions and educational opportunities to remain updated on new products and industry trends.
6. Acquire clients through referrals.
7. Follow up with slow-paying clients to collect outstanding payments.
8. Qualify projects for non-contract clients with systems of 25 tons and under.
Physical Requirements & Job Environment:
All candidates for this position should possess reasonable physical fitness and be capable of lifting a 60 lb. tool, piece of equipment, or material and moving it in various environments such as job sites, vendor locations, or warehouses. Specific physical job requirements include:

All sales personnel typically load and unload materials for projects and transport these materials to their designated locations. This may involve maneuvering in tight and challenging situations and on uneven surfaces. Candidates may be required to climb and work from ladders and aerial lifts as necessary to perform their duties within buildings and on rooftops. Familiarity with the safe operation and capability of using hammer-type drills and similar tools is essential. Environmental conditions may vary from outdoor settings throughout the year to indoor office environments and utility plants.
