Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (IMC) team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and making decisions that impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients initially on admission and continually according to patient needs, condition change, or unit/department standards
  • Serve as an advocate for patient/family/SO regarding decisions affecting the Plan of Care
  • Develop, implement, and modify the patient's plan of care according to the patient's progress
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specific disease process treatments, interventions, and responses based on age specificity, patient's needs, condition, impairment, or disability
  • Immediately initiate STAT orders
  • Assess, collaborate, report, and coordinate the patient's transfer or discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge or transfer to another level of care with the other members of the health care team and patient's family/SO
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BCLS
  • Minimum of one-year acute care hospital experience
  • Critical Care or Telemetry experience preferred
