Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to achieve the company's value, mission, and vision statement.
- Develop and implement plans to achieve revenue and operational profit targets.
- Manage employee relations, including retention, satisfaction, and promotion of company culture.
- Oversee warehouse staffing, including hiring, termination, discipline, and training.
- Identify opportunities for business improvement and develop/implement plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage the process of tracking and publishing Key Performance Measures.
- Ensure employee individual performance metrics are tracked and utilized to manage labor spend and evaluate employee performance.
- Manage Quarterly Business Review process with customers.
- Oversee facility maintenance and develop/maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Participate in budgeting activities and monitor budget performance.
- Support proactive maintenance of equipment and recommend capital expenditures.
- Implement and foster a safety culture, developing/implementing safe work policies and procedures.
- Suggest improved efficiency through the use of advanced systems/automation.
- Participate in formulating and administering company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Operational background with a continuous improvement track record.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
