Job Overview

DOCS Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team in providing on-site dental care to incarcerated individuals in county jails across New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dental treatment rooms
  • Ensure the sterilization of all dental equipment
  • Process and take x-rays as required
  • Support dentists in 4-handed dentistry procedures
  • Operate portable/mobile dental equipment
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Dental Assistant Program or equivalent on-the-job training
  • At least one year of experience in dental assisting, preferably in a public health setting
  • Active x-Ray Certification
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
