We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to work at a county jail(s) in the Steuben County Area. This opportunity provides a great source of supplemental income and a valuable experience in a public health setting, while making a difference in health outcomes for incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities
  1. Set-up and breakdown of room.
  2. Sterilization of all equipment.
  3. Take/process x-rays.
  4. Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
  5. Work with portable/mobile equipment.
Requirements
  1. Graduate of Dental Assistant Program or on the job training.
  2. One (1) year or more dental assisting experience - preferred.
  3. Active x-Ray Certification.
  4. CPR/BLS.
  5. Valid Driver License.
  6. Reliable Transportation.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong organizational skills.
