Hospice Aide

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at SouthernCare. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
• Report any changes in patient condition or home situation to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement activities and attend staff meetings

Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology
• Current driver's license and automobile insurance
• CPR certification
