Job Summary

The Breakfast Attendant is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional service to guests in the complimentary breakfast area. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality control of menus, maintaining cleanliness and appearance
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables/hotel spaces as requested by clients or management
  • Stock, organize, and maintain cleanliness of service areas, including washing dishes and restocking equipment
  • Support beverage and food service areas as needed, including cashiering functions and end-of-shift paperwork
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, as well as side work duties according to station rotation assignment
  • Answer questions about the hotel, hotel-brand standards, guest expectations, and local area attractions
  • Prepare high-quality drinks, including specialty coffee and tea drinks, specialty cocktails, and beverage requests
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, or experience in a hotel or related field
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and pass a responsible serving course, such as TIPS
  • Obtain and provide a Food Handlers card, as required by city/county/state
  • Understanding of hotel products and guest services
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with guests and team members
