Job Title: RN Public Health

Job Summary:

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled RN Public Health to oversee the planning and implementation of Public Health Prevention programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with infection control in a public health setting and be able to work effectively with long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement Public Health Prevention programs
  • Oversee the work of assigned team members
  • Review and provide feedback on program implementation
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including the CDC and other public agencies
  • Provide progress reports to the Director of DPH and the Board
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of program-related consultants
  • Ensure compliance with CDC requirements and regulations

Requirements:

  • Licensed as RN or LPN/LVN in the state practicing
  • Bachelor's degree in public health or related field required if not licensed RN/LPN/LVN
  • Advanced Public Health Nursing Certification (PHNA-BC) preferred
  • Master's Degree from a graduate school with specialization in public health or a related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of public health or related field experience required
  • One (1) year of highly responsible and complex administrative staff experience preferred
