Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure timely production.
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure seamless operation of packaging lines and meet production targets.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in packaging maintenance and repair.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical, industrial maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and PM.
- 5+ years of work experience in production manufacturing environment.
- Experience with high-speed packaging systems.
- Knowledge of PLC's/HMI's, electrical protective devices.
- Good math, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be flexible and shift priorities in a constantly changing, fast-paced work environment.
- Self-starter, proactive.
- 480v 3 phase knowledge required.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) a plus.
- Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E preferred.
- Experience with VFD's, control systems (PLC's/HMI's), electrical protective devices with knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment including Fluke and Transcat.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $31.53 per hour.
