Job Overview:
The Material Handler II role is a vital position within our Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit. This role encompasses a variety of shipping and receiving responsibilities across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in working with freight forwarders and managing the necessary documentation for both international and domestic shipments. A key aspect of this position involves maintaining accurate inventory levels through regular spot checks and cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supply materials to production areas while ensuring effective inventory management.
2. Exhibit a thorough understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
3. Pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently.
4. Receive and distribute incoming packages.
5. Oversee inventory control across all stock locations.
6. Process material requisitions and deliver them to the designated departments.
7. Administer the cycle count program diligently.
8. Maintain precise documentation for material disposal.
9. Ensure cleanliness and organization within warehouse and shipping zones.
10. Be prepared for potential call backs or extended hours as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or material handling.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
