Scripps Health is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Lead to join our team at Scripps Memorial La Jolla. As a Surgical Technologist Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process enhancements.
Requirements
- 3 years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- CST Certification.
