About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide exceptional interpretation services for our Deaf consumers in multiple locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between individuals with diverse language needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively interpret between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and excellent customer service
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the various interpreting needs in the community setting
  • Enhance interpreting skills through ongoing education and training

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Interpreter certification and 3 years of experience working as an interpreter (preferred)
  • Ability to travel independently in the metropolitan area and access to a vehicle, valid driver's license, and minimum state-required auto insurance
