**The Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer - Access Control Specialist to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for performing access control screening functions for employees and visitors in INSCOM owned or leased buildings and property.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Salary:** $17.50/hour

- Control access to buildings and property, protect equipment and material, and perform interior and exterior facility security inspections as directed.

- Interact and escort as required with public and government personnel.

- Meet, greet, and interact professionally with employees, VIPs, and the general public.

- Maintain poise and self-control under stress.

- Respond and assist medical, fire department, law enforcement, and other personnel at the direction of supervisors.

- Construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English.

- Read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.

**Requirements**

- Active TS clearance.

- 1+ years of access control experience preferred.

- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience preferred.

- Successfully completed all training and have obtained all required permits, licenses, certifications, and security clearances for the site.

- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

- Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five years.
