Occupational Therapist Opportunity

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Licensed Occupational Therapist with a strong passion for delivering high-quality care. This position is open to OTs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
  • Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices.
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services in relation to patient evaluation and referrals.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
  • Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
